Princeton Mortgage, a Mortgage Lender, based out of Ewing, New Jersey, has formed a relationship with Own Up Power Buyer Services, LLC of Boston, Massachusetts. The goal is to provide borrowers and realtors with Own Up’s Power Buyer, a cash offer resource meant to help them gain an edge in a competitive market.
As prices and interest rates have continued to go up, it is becoming more challenging to compete against all-cash offers. Power Buyer allows qualifying borrowers to make a cash offer, even without having the cash on hand.
Designed with borrowers in mind, the program gives a competitive advantage while providing the #effortless mortgage experience Princeton is known for. The borrower obtains a pre-approval from Princeton Mortgage to learn the max offer they will qualify for. While the borrower finds the property they wish to purchase, Power Buyer works with Princeton Mortgage to determine the max Power Offer price they will support for the property. The borrower and agent can elect to make an all-cash offer and waive financing and appraisal contingency up to the max Power Offer price.
If the offer is accepted, the borrower pursues standard financing. As long as financing is secured on the closing date with Princeton Mortgage, the borrower will pay a Power Buyer fee of 1%. However, if the financing is secured with a lender other than Princeton Mortgage, the fee will be 2% of the purchase price.
